Pizza Pockets
Fill Pillsbury™ crescent dinner rolls with pepperoni to make these cheesy sandwiches that are ready in 25 minutes - perfect for dinner.
INGREDIENTS
- One can of crescent rolls
- One-quarter cup of pizza sauce
- Some pepperonis
- Almost one-quarter cup of mozzarella cheese
- Half a cup of parmesan cheese
- A little green onion
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take a can of crescent rolls open it up and unroll it carefully and rip it into four rectangles.
- Now take a jar of pizza sauce and put a dollop (almost two tablespoons) on one half of each rectangle. (Organic kind sauce is the best for the taste.)
- In the next step now take some pepperonis and layer at least three pepperonis on each rectangle right on top of the pizza sauce dollop.
- Now take some fresh mozzarella cheese and put it on the top of pepperonis almost two tablespoons of cheese on each piece.
- Now fold the rectangles from the other half and close it completely pushing the sides down. And with the help of a fork cramp them on all the edges.
- Now sprinkle a little bit of Parmesan cheese right on top.
- Then put one piece of green onion on top of Parmesan cheese on each piece.
- Then put the pizza pockets in the oven at 375 for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes your golden yummy and crispy pizza pockets are ready, take them out and enjoy them warm.
- You can also use some sauces or something else as your quick and easy lunch or appetizer.
